About Emil Kampp
Voice Trainer and Vocal Coach

For the past 10 years, I have worked professionally with the voice, teaching people of all ages and experience levels. I am a certified voice coach and am passionate about helping people develop a freer, stronger and more flexible voice.
I take a functional, individual approach to voice training. My clients include teachers, business leaders, speakers, actors, podcasters and others who rely heavily on their voice at work. I also work with people whose voices often feel tired, hoarse or strained, or who want to communicate with greater clarity, confidence and impact.
The voice is a complex, versatile instrument, shaped by the body, breathing, habits and state of mind. Each person also has their own sound, expression and challenges. That is why I meet you where you are and tailor the training to your voice, needs and goals.
I do not believe everyone should sound the same, nor do I limit myself to a single method. The aim is to give you more freedom, control and flexibility, so your voice supports what you want to communicate.
My professional approach
My teaching is rooted in functional voice training, the basis of my training at Voice Coach Academy with Klaus Møller. This approach is grounded in a practical understanding of how the voice works physiologically and is also informed by principles from Estill Voice Training.
I use the techniques and exercises that make the most sense for the situation at hand. This may include breathing, support, resonance, articulation, volume, release of tension and vocal flexibility.
Technical voice work is a central part of the training. Through specific exercises, you will develop a more resilient, free and flexible voice, enabling you to communicate with greater ease and authenticity.

Experience of using the voice under pressure
Alongside my teaching, I am an active performing singer, including with Love Revolution Gospel Choir. I have performed as a soloist on DR's Store Juleshow and at London's Royal Albert Hall, and recorded backing vocals for artists including Medina, Rasmus Seebach and Burhan G.
My work as a singer has given me practical experience of using the voice in front of an audience and in situations where nerves, performance pressure and high vocal demands come into play. I bring that experience into my teaching when we work on vocal stability, projection, performance and keeping the voice free under pressure.
